DESCRIPTION:Discover the joy of sustainable living in this hands on Beeswax Wraps Workshop. $65/person\n\nIn this fun and relaxed class\, you’ll learn how to create your own resusable food wraps using cotton fabric\, pure beeswax\, and natural oils-a beautiful and eco friendly alternative to plastic wrap. You’ll make several wraps in different sizes\, perfect for covering bowls\, wrapping cheese\, snacks or sandwiches and leave with practical skills you can continue using at home.\n\nWhat creative skills you will learn:\n\nHow to make reusable beeswax wraps using natural ingredients\nTechniques for evenly coating fabric with beeswax and oils\nHow to choose fabrics and materials that work best for wraps\nhow to recreate the wraps at home using the same method\n\nWhat is included:\n\nCotton fabric pieces in a variety of sizes\nPure beeswax and natural oils\nAll tools and materials needed\n\nThis workshop is suitable for ages 10+ with close adult supervision. We’ll be working with lye\, so safety is key — please bring an apron and eye protection. Let’s get sudsy!\n\nAll participants require a ticket. **Each participant will receive 10% off The Bee Works Gift Shop purchases on the day of the workshop. These workshops can tend to be a bit messy so please dress accordingly and we highly recommend putting long hair in a hair tie. **You must PRE-REGISTER to get a spot in the workshop. All reservations must be paid in advance and these workshops are non-refundable**
