Once Upon a Time – A Fundraiser

Westben’s beloved fall fundraiser has been reimagined as an intimate afternoon celebrating the artistry of storytelling, music, and conversation.

Step inside the beautifully transformed Westben School House, where just 40 guests will gather for a rare opportunity to experience acclaimed Canadian author Jane Urquhart, Heidi Elise Bearcroft, Principal Harpist of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Brian Finley in an elegant and welcoming setting. Through captivating readings, conversation, and the enchanting sounds of the harp, literature and music come together in a deeply personal and unforgettable experience.

Thoughtful hospitality is all part of the afternoon, with a curated selection of savoury treats, sweet delights, and refreshments included with your ticket.

As part of this reimagined event, the silent auction will take place during Westben’s August 2 season finale with Hilario Durán, where guests will be invited to arrive early to browse the auction in the Meadow before the performance.
